ICBC offers pre-approved chiropractic treatments for individuals injured in crashes as part of their Enhanced Care program. These treatments are available for the first 12 weeks following the accident, and include up to 25 chiropractic visits, requiring no medical referral.

Pre-approved treatment:

ICBC provides pre-approved access to various treatments, including chiropractic care, within the first 12 weeks after a collision

No referral needed:

You don’t need a doctor’s referral to see a chiropractor for ICBC-covered treatments

Number of visits:

ICBC covers up to 25 chiropractic visits within the first 12 weeks post-accident. 

Direct billing:

ICBC typically pays chiropractors directly, eliminating out-of-pocket expenses for the patient

To access these benefits, you need to report the accident to ICBC and open a claim

Treatment plan:

We will assess the patient and develop a treatment plan to help them return to their pre-accident state

Follow-up Care:

While the initial 12 weeks are covered, additional treatments may be required beyond this period. If your recovery requires further kinesiotherapy, ICBC can provide coverage if a legitimate need for additional treatments can be established
